Adventure is at the heart of everything we do. It is the single most important thing that sets Scouts apart.

  1. It's exciting being involved with us. We believe that through the everyday adventure of Scouting, young people and adult volunteers regularly experience new challenges that enrich their lives and meet life long friends.

We offer hundreds of activities, as diverse as;

  • kayaking
  • abseiling
  • staged performance
  • paragliding
  • archery

There’s something for every young person, whatever their physical ability.

Guide Sections

With guiding girls have fun, adventure and the space to discover their potential

They go to their first ever sleepover, canoe on rivers, learn about body confidence, and lead their own camp. Or sometimes they simply have fun and try new things with friends.

Girls take what they do in guiding with them as they grow up. Everything from working in a team, to taking the lead, to speaking out on issues they care about. It helps them develop the skills and confidence to become the young women they want to be. And to make a difference to the world around them.

LEADERS WANTED

You don’t have to be an adventurer like Bear Grylls to get involved with Scouting or Guiding. Do you have first aid knowledge? Are you good with numbers? Handy in the kitchen? Or are you a DIY whizz? We all have useful skills and you can volunteer and help in many ways.

EasyJet, Europe’s leading airline, has joined forces with Girlguiding to engage more girls in aviation  200,000 girls will have the opportunity to complete the badge, part of Girlguiding’s new programme to be launched this summer, engaging in aviation, building a foundation for future study and raising awareness of the opportunities to be a pilot as a future career.
